RIVER RATS!

We had another summer adventure this week.We went to the Washougal River for a relaxing day of sun and swimming. The boys had a great time, all except for A.J. The river was way to mucky and slimy for him since he had to stay on the banks. He would not even hardly touch it. He sat in the beach chair almost the whole day. Anyone who has ever had a 21month old knows how rare this is. Hmmmmm. ..maybe we should go to the river EVERY day?? Anyway, Cade and Jack had fun with their friends swinging like monkeys from the rope swing and collecting bugs and rocks. At first Caden was a little timid about swimming all the way across the river. Then he learned to master the current and work with it rather than against it. Jack-Jack no body fat got cold and had to rest on the hot rocks like a lizard for a while, but other than that it was a perfect summer day.
