Every 6 months we get a chance to participate in General Conference by listening to what the Prophet and the apostles of our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints) have felt inspired to share with the Church as a whole. Those two weekends are becoming some of my most favorite days of the year. Not only do we as a family get to stay home and enjoy our traditional "conference breakfast" which usually stretches out for quite some time, but we always start that next Monday morning renewed, inspired, and recommited to do what our Heavenly Father wants us to. It is amazing to me that the audience is so large, nearly 13million members and yet each time I feel like there are at least a handful of talks written specifically for me. This conference was really uplifting, which likely has to do with the fact that our boys were strangely quiet and calm due to the great conference activity packets that my visiting teachers brought over on Friday.
