We have the most AWESOME home teachers! One of them Brother Percy (with glasses) has been our H.T. for going on 7 years now. They came over tonight and shared a great lesson about "light" with our family. Brother Dray (who gave the lesson) brought over these head lamps for the boys and they put them on and he asked them to keep the light off at first. Then he had a pen light and told them to shine it as quickly as they could at different objects, people, etc. They were pretty fast, but then he had them turn on the head lamps and discussed how much fast you can "receive light" and direct that light where it needs to go when it is with you or part of you. That led him into a discussion about the light that we all receive when we are baptised which is the holy ghost and how that light within us can guide us and help us to see things more clearly. The boys had a great time and were totally into it. They were actually pretty attentive and they really learned something. I am so glad that we these good brothers to help us teach our boys.

Hey I can see the tree house coming along in the background. Yippee! Maybe that can be your place to go to be alone??? Pull up the ladder and tell the boys they are on their own!
How have you kept the same home teacher through a move!! That is so great. They are going the extra mile and probably getting the boys to listen to the message which is always a bonus.
