I cannot believe that March is almost over and I have not posted ONCE! In my own defense I will say that I can't find my camera anywhere?? It is almost to the point of buying a new one (which aside from the expense wouldn't be totally terrible since my last one didn't take great pics.) I don't know why but I've officially decided that March is my least favorite month of the year. Every year in March it seems like time is going faster than ever, it is tax time, baseball starts, it is STILL raining, and I just generally feel blah. Despite the darkness in the morning I have added my early a.m. runs back into my schedule and that is helping to free up some time during the day when I otherwise would be at the gym.
This month we have had our fair share of chaos. I through my back out early in the month and had to be physically picked up off the floor by a trainer at the gym. To make matters worse it wasn't even a good looking guy, it was a woman with HUGE guns! The next week my dad had a serious illness that sent him to the ICU for a few days and I flew home to my mom to support her and help where needed. Everything so far has checked out o.k. and he is doing much better although the doctors still don't really know what happened. He will have some follow up testing in another month or so. None the less it was a terrifying and exhausting week for both of my parents. That same week a good friend from High School passed away (Tim Dailey) in his sleep. What a shock and so sad for his wife and four kids. The day I got home from Utah, both my sissies and one of my brother in laws flew in for a quick, but really fun weekend. With only a week to recover until Ryan and I leave for SF (tomorrow) we packed the week with bids from excavaters and appraisals for the re-fi we are doing on our house, meeting with our landscaper, and entertaining friends for dinner. We also managed to squeeze in several baseball practices, gymnastics, Wicked (which did NOT dissapoint), and church activities. I am looking forward to the road trip with Ryan and some much needed R and R. More later
